Our Story

Geared Up Coffee is created by coffee enthusiasts who were frustrated by the low quality home brewing coffee information online.

Our names are Nicole and Mesphird. 

We used to believe that coffee websites run by big media companies know everything about coffee. However, following their instructions made us feel like we wasted time and money brewing bad-tasting coffee.

That was when we realized how many coffee lovers just like us are suffering, craving for this delicious caffeinated drink. We felt the importance of researching and doing experiments by ourselves, in order to enjoy the process and the result of making successful coffee at home.

We love the process of brewing coffee as much as the love of drinking coffee itself. The choice of brewing coffee at home is not just about being economical, nor the caffeine kick. What we cherish is the whole process of sourcing, roasting, grinding, and finally brewing coffee. 

Our Mission

Our goal is to help you brew a better cup of coffee at home; but more importantly, we want to share how incredible the art of coffee is and make you fall in love with it.
